Reflecting on her memories of Tom with her older brother Sam, she revealed he ate beans on toast every day as she admitted she “missed” him.

‘[Tom] used to always having the exact same lunch every day. Tom would have jacket, cheese and beans, or beans on toast with cheese,” she explained.

“He would actually be so offended if you had to eat something else at lunchtime that wasn’t appropriate for lunch.

“It would be so prepared that you had to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and there was like fixed food that you could eat at those times. It’s just remembering and talking about him, you miss him so much.

Kelsey also shared that her brother was helping her renovate her house, which she said she and Tom had always planned to do but couldn’t when he got sick.

Kelsey – who shares children Aurelia, three, and Bodhi, two, with Tom – admitted it had been ‘difficult’ to make big decisions without her late husband, but said she still had his texts with his opinions on the renovation.

She said: “It’s actually been a pretty hard thing to do because obviously what’s really hard is making decisions without him.” When you’re in a relationship, I was guided by what Tom said about things.

“I probably would have made the decision in the end, but you always have your partner to lean on. But what’s kind of cute is that I got all the messages from Tom about what he wanted to do with the room.

It comes after Kelsey emotionally revealed how ‘guilt-ridden’ she was for not being able to ‘save’ late husband Tom amid his battle with brain cancer.

On the latest episode of her show Kelsey Parker: Life After Tom, Kelsey headed for a therapy session, during which she admitted it would take her “years and years to get over” her guilt.

As she reflected on life without her husband, Kelsey was asked by her therapist about how she was feeling emotionally, with the widow remarking that she couldn’t shake the feeling that she was unable to stop Tom from die.

“It will take years and years to overcome the guilt of not being able to save him.” But I know deep in my heart that I did everything I could.

The therapist then asked what she hoped for the future, with Kelsey replying that she just wanted to be happy, although she admitted she needed to find herself after two years of caring for her husband during his illness.
