Shemar Moore confirmed on Tuesday that he and girlfriend Jesiree Dizon have welcomed a baby girl.

The 52-year-old actor – best known for shows such as SWAT, Criminal Minds and The Young and the Restless – said on Instagram: “Ya boy is officially a daddy!!! Dreams come true!! The rest of my life is here!’

A rep for the veteran actor, who battled the coronavirus in 2020, has confirmed People news of the baby’s birth earlier Tuesday.

“Shemar Moore and his girlfriend, Jesiree Dizon, are thrilled to announce the birth of their baby girl,” the rep said. “The family is very happy and healthy.”

Moore and his wife received words of support from other actors such as SWAT’s David Lim, Nut Devahastin and Bill Bellamy.

Moore earlier this month revealed on The Jennifer Hudson Show that he ‘is about to be a dad’ and that he had started to worry ‘that the boat had sailed’ about being a parent. He said the due date was around the third anniversary of his mother’s death on February 8, 2020.

He said: “On February 8, I’m going to make one of his dreams come true because in real life Shemar Moore is about to be a dad,” prompting the audience to cheer.
