The ex of one of Love Island UK’s Australian ‘bombshells’ has accused him of disrespecting her during their time together on the Australian version of the show.
Courtney Stubbs teamed up with Aaron Waters on the third season of Love Island Australia in 2021, an experience she found distressing due to his alleged behavior.
She made a series of damning claims about Aaron on Instagram, following his debut alongside Jessie Wynter as late entries in the series Winter Love Island, which is currently being filmed in South Africa and simulcast in Great Britain. -Brittany.

“I’ve never broached this subject before…because every time I think about it, it makes me want to roll my eyes,” she began.
‘[Aaron] continued to love Island UK and the first thing he wanted to do was drag me into his promotion. It’s not the first time he’s trolled me, so it’s something I’m pretty used to, honestly. But after a year, I thought, “Surely he would stop saying bad things about me?”
Courtney went on to say that Aaron’s behavior towards her was “awful”.

“He bullied me, put me down, he skin-shamed me, he body-shamed me. He constantly told me to fuck off [and] shut down the whole show and made it his personal vendetta against me to make sure every guy felt the same way he felt about me,’ she added.
Courtney said she never responded to Aaron or called him out on his alleged behavior because she didn’t know how to react at the time.
She also claimed Aaron would take subtle jabs at his appearance, saying he preferred ‘clean girls’ and ‘girls who took care of their skin’ – despite Courtney taking medication for her severe acne.
“I literally had cystic acne on my face, which obviously already scared me so much to go on TV with my skin like that,” she said. “So for someone to point this out to you, I’m like, ‘Oh great. Guys are going to notice it throughout the show. “”

Courtney also alleged that Aaron would criticize her weight and say he ‘likes [it] when girls take care of their bodies and go to the gym”. At the time, she was struggling to lose weight.
Bursting into tears, she added: ‘So I was going on the show, I didn’t feel confident in my skin, I didn’t feel confident in my body, then he literally went straight on the first morning in the villa shamed me for my skin and my body.’
She then called Love Island UK for giving her a platform for the second time.

“I don’t know how men get away with bullying girls, putting them down, telling girls they’re fat and their skin is bad,” she said.
“All I did was get bullied by him. And then that’s what I have to deal with… And it would be nice if people actually knew what he looks like.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Love Island UK for comment.
Courtney isn’t the only one unhappy with Aaron’s appearance on Love Island, many annoyed British islanders have been cast who aren’t from the UK.
In the comments section of the official Love Island Instagram account, fans say the Aussie intruders are “not needed at all”.

Others pointed to the logistical problems of Brits and Australians finding love when living on opposite sides of the world.
‘What’s the point of bringing Australians? How will it work when they live halfway around the world from London? said a viewer.
‘I don’t understand. Will they move all their life to the UK? another questioned.
“I’m from Australia, but why? “I love Love Island because it’s from the UK and it’s ruining it. Aaron isn’t a bombshell either… thinks he’s too much of himself,’ one Aussie wrote.
