Louise Thompson has reflected on “surviving a second time ‘after her emergency readmission to hospital’, a year after the traumatic birth of her son.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 32, admitted on Saturday that she was “doing very well” before suffering a haemorrhage and losing around three liters of blood.

She spent a month in intensive care after welcoming her 14-month-old son Leo-Hunter Libbey with her boyfriend Ryan and is suffering from PTSD and post-natal anxiety after the near-death birth experience.

Louise had previously been hospitalized after undergoing a ‘minor operation’ amid her grueling battle with Asherman Syndrome.

The condition causes scar tissue to form and accumulate inside your uterus, it is unclear whether its recent admission was due to complications from surgery.

‘You know how strong you are’: Louise Thompson reflects on ‘surviving a second time’ after her emergency readmission to hospital’, a year after the traumatic birth of her son

Reflecting on the health scare, she wrote on Instagram: “You know, the funny thing about surviving the second round is you know you’re not just lucky.” You understand the capacity of the human body. You know how strong you are.

“You understand what modern medicine is capable of and what you can resist. Wow, you can handle so much.

A hemorrhage is medically defined as loss of blood from damaged blood vessels, and it can be both internal and external.

It can occur in almost any part of the body, and if it is uncontrollable or caused by a serious injury, it may require surgery.

Louise continued, “I try to reframe that as reassuring. It’s reassuring to see that I came and went from the hospital (unexpectedly) and survived each time.

“I never thought it would happen to me, and it did. Then I never thought it would happen again. But it kinda does. So I guess nothing in life n is certain. NOTHING.

“But the good thing is that I can learn from it. I’ve learned that I don’t want to live my life in fear anymore…and I’m definitely not going to undo all my hard work. I have to great systems and support in place now.

‘Soooo… I want to go back to life as normally as possible please. With an extra portion of perspective and gratitude.

She ended the caption by saying: ‘Ps. Last week I managed to distract all the ruminating/analyzing/damn horrible, circulating and obsessive thoughts with the idea of just laying there wishing I had more time with my boy which then makes me shift gears and to feel vv VVV present and forces me to really soak up the good stuff.

‘A little blessing…or just another mind game.’

She then shared a photo of her pet dog to her Instagram Stories and wrote, “I’m scared. I’m scared because I had a really good day yesterday and shit the day before.

‘My logical brain says ok, you tend to have a really good day every other day, so today might be uncertain. And by good or bad, I don’t just mean good or bad things happening, I mean will my brain play ball or not.

‘Will I have an episode of ptsd? Will I feel trapped in my head? Frustrated? Irritated? For no valid reason. It’s hard.’

It comes after Louise’s fiancé Ryan Libbey revealed she was rushed to hospital after suffering a haemorrhage.
