Their comedic co-star Andrew Shulz told the anecdote about The brilliant idiotsthe podcast he co-hosts with Charlamagne Tha God.

‘I don’t even know if I should share this shit but the final scene, they don’t even kiss. It’s CGI,’ said Andrew, 39, to an incredulous response from Charlamagne.

“And I’m like, ‘I wonder how they’re going to play that in the movie — oh, they’ll probably just cut there. “But in the movie, you can see their faces come together, and then you can see their faces kind of turn into a fake kiss.

Eddie Murphy and Nia Long play the parents of Lauren’s character, Amira.

And Jonah’s character, Ezra, has parents played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus and David Duchovny.

Andrew got a role as Ezra’s cousin, Avi.

The star-studded supporting cast ranges from Elliott Gould and Rhea Perlman to Yung Miami and La La Anthony.

The film was released on Netflix on January 27.

It has sharply divided critics to the tune of a current rating of 43% on rotten tomatoes.

Filming for You People began in October 2021, according to In the wings.

It comes two and a half years after the murder of Lauren’s longtime love, Nipsey Hussle.

Lauren, who has a son with Nipsey and another with Lil Wayne, said last year she wasn’t looking for another man.
