Popular podcast host Joe Rogan has theorized that the discovery of top secret and classified documents that appear to have been mishandled by President Joe Biden is part of a scheme by Democrats to oust Biden before the 2024 race.
In an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience that came out this weekend, Rogan sat down with comedians Matt McCusker and Shane Gillis, who co-host their own podcast together.
During the conversation, the three touched on the topic of newly discovered top secret and classified documents that were found by Biden’s attorneys and legal assistants at his Delaware home and DC think tank.
“If I had to guess – they’re trying to get rid of him,” Rogan speculated, referring to members of the president’s own party, hoping to clear the ground before the 2024 presidential election.
Biden’s team has continually denied any wrongdoing and predicted he would be cleared of any criminality in regards to the classified documents debacle
‘It’s crazy. He (Joe Biden) gets stuck in Manila files when he was like kissing 12-year-old girls on camera,’ McCusker said, referring to some of the president’s oft-noted odd behavior toward underage girls .
Rogan then weighed in, “I don’t know anything about politics.” But if I had to guess – they are trying to get rid of him.
“I guess they’re trying to get rid of him. If all of a sudden they’re – his own assistants send them – instead of taking these classified documents, which you located and saying ‘Well, let’s not do this again’ and locking them somewhere,” Rogan said.
“Self-declaration,” Gillis offered.
“Man, come on,” Rogan replied. ‘That looks suspicious. Well, nobody self-declared this fucking laptop.
“Well, that was Russian misinformation,” Gillis joked. “It stinks of Russian disinformation.”
The comedian, who was infamously cast and then promptly fired by Saturday Night Live producers for insensitive jokes he made, was referring to the claim made by 51 US intelligence officials who said the Hunter laptop Biden appeared to be Russian disinformation on the eve of the 2020 presidential election.
“I mean everyone has said that a million times with like the news. If it had been reversed, if it was, you know, Trump’s child, it would all have been over,’ McCusker said.
“It would have been like it was the fate of our democracy…blah, blah, blah,” he added.
“And the media would have agreed,” Rogan said.
Popular podcast host Joe Rogan said his initial reaction to the president’s classified documents scandal was that his own party was trying to oust him ahead of the 2024 race.
Comedian Shane Gillis speculated that it’s unlikely anyone affiliated with the president’s administration would suddenly decide to self-report finding classified documents at the president’s home.
Biden’s team has continually denied any wrongdoing and predicted that he would be cleared of any criminality.
“We cooperated from the time we informed the Archives that a small number of documents had been found, and we will continue to cooperate,” Richard Sauber, a senior White House attorney, said in a statement, adding that the documents had been “inadvertently misplaced”. ‘ and not unlawfully abused.
Top secret documents found in DC include US intelligence memoranda and briefing documents covering topics including Ukraine, Iran and the UK, CNN reported.
There was also a note from Biden to President Obama as well as two briefing notes preparing Biden for the phone calls – one with the British prime minister, the other with Donald Tusk, the former Polish prime minister who served as president. of the 2014-2019 European Council.
Biden hit back at reporters who inquired about the debacle on Thursday by saying the documents found in Delaware were in a “closed garage” with his beloved Corvette.
“People know that I take classified documents and classified documents seriously. I have also said that we are fully and completely cooperating with the Department of Justice’s review,” he said.
The revelation of the classified material is deeply embarrassing for Biden, who condemned Donald Trump last year when it emerged he had boxes of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago.
